Two New SJS Trustees

I am delighted to announce that Cardinal O’Malley has appointed two new Trustees of Saint John’s Seminary.  Jim Brett and Bonnie Rodgers are longtime supporters of the Seminary community and I look forward to working with them both, beginning at our next meeting of the Board of Trustees on September 30th.

James T. Brett is President and Chief Executive Officer of The New England Council and recently served as the Chairman of The President’s Committee for People with Intellectual Disabilities. He is currently Chairman of the Governor’s Commission on Intellectual Disability. Jim and Pattie Brett were the 2015 recipients of the Saint John the Evangelist Medal here at the Seminary.

Bonnie Rodgers, who holds a Master’s of Arts in Ministry from our Theological Institute, is Director of Marketing and Programming for CatholicTV. Prior to joining CatholicTV, Bonnie served as Pastoral Associate for Faith Formation at Sacred Heart Parish in Lynn. Prior to that, she spent more than 20 years as Project Manager for IT Disaster Recovery and Contingency Planning at Verizon Communications.

Jim Brett and Bonnie Rodgers succeed Andreas Widmer and Gino Lambo, whose terms on our Board of Trustees recently concluded.
